A kitchen re-do for my cousin

I've been busy, busy as a bee!!!
I've been working on a bunch of kitchen stuff for my cousin Tiffany.

I made her 6 fancy reversible place mats for her kitchen, two monogrammed kitchen towels, one potholder, a double toaster cover and an apron.

I got the black decorator fabric from JoAnn Fabrics and the burgundy fabric from Hobby Lobby- I really like it! I never would have chosen those colors for my kitchen, but I'm super happy with how everything turned out.
The whole time I was making it, I was thinking... "why don't I ever make anything like this for our home?"... maybe someday.

The apron is pattern McCall's retro aprons 5643 view A. I really like it... but I pretty much love all aprons!

Here's my Mom modeling it... isn't she cute. I made her smile like that and pose!

It was fun to make... but I'm glad it's over. I have a few more orders to complete before I can work on William's birthday stuff- and his birthday is on Thursday. I can't believe it.

Great weekend!

Tiffany's stuff looks great. Your model stinks.
