Happy Happy 'late' Birthday Hailey

Hailey's birthday was on Sunday and she is officially in the terrible threes.... not according to me, of course. I think she is the most beautiful curly haired brunette I have ever seen. I just love playing with her. She is smart and funny and sooooooo cute... especially when she is playing with Lucy. Those two are just two peas in a pod. They melt my heart.

So... here are the birthday outfits I made for Miss Hailey.
The first one is her request- a sfffoty (spotty) elephant dress... but I made a pantsuit... because I just get tired of making dresses all the time.

I love how it turned out. The pattern I used was from Mom's sewing room- it's Butterick something... I don't know. If you really want me to find out- just send me a message and I'll look it up. The fabric is from JoAnn's and the applique is from Designs by Juju Circus Set.

Hailey went to the circus on her actual birthday... so I thought this was perfect.
However, when I made it she was a little sick and tired and grumpy... so here is Emma modeling it (and the bows I made to go with it) Isn't Emma just the cutest thing!!!! I love her little modeling poses!

Here's a couple of pictures of Hailey wearing this on her birthday:

And here is the birthday outfit her mama requested. Liz picked out all the fabrics from Hobby Lobby and Hailey wanted an owl on this dress. I used an owl from Lynnie Pinnie and I made the eyes with glow in the dark embroidery thread which was a big hit with Hailey. Pretty cool! I love using all Mom's cool stuff in her sewing room. The pattern for this one is McCalls 5084. This is the second time I've made this dress- I really love it! This time I added the little sash bow thing across the waist to try and bring the fabrics together. I also made her bows... aren't they cute!

Happy Happy Birthday little Hay-yee! I wish I could have been there :(

The pattern number for that little jumpsuit is an OOP Butterick pattern #5018. I added length and a ruffle to the bottom.
