Delicious Cinnamon Donut Muffins!

I made these this morning... and.... YUM! They are so good.
Not on my diet... but.... worth it.

Cinnamon Donut Muffins

In a large bowl combine dry ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar

In another bowl combine wet ingredients:
1/3 cup veg. oil
1 egg (slightly beaten)
3/4 cup milk

Stir wet into dry until just combined.

Fill cupcake tins 1/2 full and drop a tsp. of jam in the middle (we used Blackberry- yum... and low sugar Strawberry.... eh.) then cover the jam the rest of the way making them 2/3 full.

Bake at 350 for 20-25 mins.

Right out of the oven- melt 1/3 cup butter and dip the muffins into the butter and then into a shallow bowl of cinnamon sugar.
Let cool for a little bit- the jelly gets HOT!

Try them. Today. They're so good- even 3 hours later.
I've had three.... :/... better do two workouts tonight.
