Customer Creations

I just love making stuff for people I know! Those are my absolute favorite customers.
It's fun to sell something to someone I don't know, too... don't get me wrong, but sewing for someone that I know is just so rewarding.

So, you can imagine my excitement when I was asked to make 4 onesies for my sister-in-law's best friend and got 'almost' complete freedom in the choices! Wooo Hooo!

I just love how they came out.
Especially since I usually hate embroidering onesies (and it's still not my favorite thing) but I just bought myself a 4X4 hoop for my machine and that makes it SOOOOOO much easier than trying to hoop the tiny onesie on my 5X7 hoop.

whew.... anyways... here they are.

The first one is using the she's so punk applique from Planet Applique- this is the same one I used on Alyssa's onesie.
I have to admit... I'm not really crazy about the skull fad for girls... but I like this one, none-the-less. I really like the matching bow I made for it! The onesie is from Target.

This onesie is also from Target and the embroidery file is from Lynnie Pinnie. I just love this little font set. It goes sooo good with Pickle Pie's Posy Hair Pretties, too. Which- you know- are one of my favorite things.

This one is sooo sweet. I wanted to make her a Valentine one... but wanted her to get more wear out of it. So I used this sweet ballerina tutu applique by Planet Applique and made it in red and pink. I just love that color combo!

It was the last bit of this awesome pink fabric I had left from that apron I made last year.

and last, but certainly not least, is this little Christmas onesie. Isn't it cute!!! I used one of these applique ornaments from Designs by Juju and then just hand sewed the little bow on there.

It is soooo hard to find nice white onesies... so after failing at all the typical places... I went to The Gap Baby and got these very nice white onesies. They already had something stitched on there... but I just picked it out and covered over the old design. Hello Quality shirt... no see thru white cheap pack onesies for Jacey.

And then here is an etsy order I got yesterday.... cute, cute, cute. I just love that delightful font! The Jack applique is from Stitch on Time and (as you know) one of my all time favorite designs.

...more cleaning today. But William gets out of school early and then family comes in tomorrow! Hooray!!!!
