Something for Xavier

My cousin, Annie, is having a little boy!

Yea! It's been years since I got to make little boy stuff... our family seems to be on a girl run. The last 6 babies in our family have been female!

So, when I got the opportunity to test the David pattern for Nanoo Designs I knew I had to make something for baby Xavier!

I used this great, soft, baby cord from Hobby Lobby and then some UK cotton for the contrasting bib. The embroidery file is from Stitch on Time, but I must say, this is the first time that I've been disappointed in one of her designs. There were some running stitches that I had to pick out and overall I wasn't too thrilled with the results.

I love these little overalls, with a bright blue Kentucky shirt. oh my gosh.
little boys..... ah...... so fun.

This pattern was simple and very easy to put together. Great for little boys and little girls, too! I think I'm going to make some for Lucy with ruffles on the bottom! I just love Lulu in overalls!

I'm just so thrilled that I was able to test this pattern. Have I mentioned that I LOVE testing patterns!? David isn't out yet, but you can get some other very cute Nanoo Patterns here. I will post a link when David is for sale.

So much to do today. I think it's time I make some stuff for my, seriously neglected, etsy store.
