Twins- twice the fun!

I can't imagine having twins. Ella and Lucy are 14 months apart.... that was a (happy) accident... but twins??? oh my.

It is fun to sew for them, though. So I was thrilled when my good friend from high school hired me to make some baby shower items for them.

First, I made these bibs. I've been dying to make some like them ever since I saw someone do it on sewforum. I think they're so funny! I used the baby bet font from Planet Applique for the applique letters and Kindergarden font for the other part.

Onesies, of course... and they're so tiny.... oh.... so cute!

this was before Kristi realized she told me the wrong spelling of the name... this is the re-do.

I used Lynnie Pinnies Taylor monogram for this- which is a GREAT looking font, plus comes in VERY handy in covering up mistakes... hahahhahhahaha!

Here's the butt of the girl onesie. I used a new design from Lynnie Pinnie for this. They are SO awesome. I had to get some! They are quick, zig zag ones. They go so fast and that is awesome when you have to hold the t-shirt back to keep it from getting stuck in the machine. I LOVE these. Go check them out!

And matching outfits.

For the boy I used this adorable frog from Planet Applique. I love frogs! and OOP (out of print pattern) It's so Easy 5515 omitting the pockets (why would a newborn need pockets anyways????) and shortening it to a shorts length. But I would really like a new jon jon pattern for babies. I have a couple for toddlers, but would like a better newborn one. Anyone know of a good jon jon pattern for little babies?

For the girl, I used the matching girl froggie applique and McCall's 4812 View F. It's a really cute little reversible a line that ties in the back. I love those kind of dresses for babies! oh... so cute!

and what is a baby dress without ruffle bottom bloomers???
I used Embroitique's Shabby Shic Heart Monogram for these.
However, I did gather my fabrics with my sewing machine instead of doing it in the hoop.

Baby headbands and bows... they make me so happy!

and the towels... before I had to patch a K over the C... oops.

and very last... a couple of FREE toys to throw in the box. I just think these are the cutest toys around. They are by sewing for sarah... and I love them!

Speaking of toys.... look at this adorable softie I made to match the little outfit I made to sell in my store. It's by Pickle Pie designs, find them here.

I'm taking the morning off sewing to work on the kids rooms... ugh.
And I'll be back at the machine tonight.
On the to-do list:
Valentine shirts
burp cloths for baby Sophie
P.J pants for my nephew Dylan
William's 100th day of school outfit for tomorrow
some testing!
Valentine hand towels

and as soon as I can get a button for my blog, I'm going to do a give-away. My first one, I'm so excited!

The redo on the girls shirt is cuter than the original one. Have fun cleaning.
