It's a somber morning

I just don't feel like I can blog about sewing today...

One of my little sister's good friends passed away expectantly during the night last night. I've met him several times and he and his wife are just the sweetest people. They have a 1 year old son, Austin.

My heart goes out to his wife, Alana, such a beautiful and caring person and such a dear friend to my sister, Megan.

I know it's part of life, but it is never, NEVER easy.
Sewing and embroidery just seems so trivial this morning.

Please say a prayer for this young, young widow and their family.

That is so sad. Death is never easy at any age, but I do think it has a profound sadness when they are so young. Prayers for all.

I'm so sorry. I'll keep the family in my thoughts.

This is so sad. One of my daughter's best friends just lost her dad last week too. He was a young 44 and also died unexpectedly during the night. No words can explain. Warm thoughts go to this lovely young widow.

Liz told me this morning, and I just sat and cried for them. Sending them prayers for peace and comfort, and that they find the support they'll really need during this time.

The last comment was mine - Liz must have signed me in in California. Anyway, praying for them. Poor little family.
