A big week for us!

So.... this week has been major fun for us.

Check this out:

We had meet the teacher night and met William's new 1st grade teacher!

We decided to hold Ella back this year from Kindergarten. Her birthday is only one day away from the official cut off and I just don't want her to be the youngest in her class. I can't believe I only have one more year of her being at home with me. So sad. So sad.

Then... Lucy got her cast removed. Hallelujah! That thing was stinky!

Good-bye ugly, stinky, orange cast with a LOT of kitties on it.
Can you believe they ask you if you want to keep it????
Uh. Gross. No thank you.

The first thing she said was, "Now I can wash both my hands!"
Thank goodness.

We had a little celebration.

Then William had his first day of school- starting 15 minutes earlier than last year. I think they are trying to kill me...... ugh.

Isn't he cute? I know.

There was also a social event for Mr. Cole's work Friday night.
The kids and I got to go see Despicable Me and also get FREE food from the concession stand. We rarely go to the movie theater and we NEVER buy food there, so the kids were in heaven. The kids ate popcorn and candy and had soda for dinner- a kids dream meal. hahahhhahahhaha I made this new dress that day. I'll show you more of it later.

This morning we gave Boos an early birthday present... but she's too tall for it. Mr. Cole is taking her to exchange it right now.

But the best news is that William lost his first tooth!!!!
Boys..... I didn't even know it was loose. He had to be wiggling it for at least a couple days, cause it was pretty loose and he was so tough about letting me pull it out.

He is so excited. He has been impatiently awaiting this day for a long time!

I don't know what it is... but I just love pulling little teeth. There is something so cool about the fact that he will be getting some big boy teeth in there.
When I worked at the rec. center, I would pull all my kids loose teeth- I become kind of famous for it. They would even bring their friends. ha.

I'm a little va-klempted at the fact that my little boy is big enough to loose his first tooth.... but I'm happy for him.
I guess I'm making a tooth pillow this afternoon instead of lazing around like I had intended on doing.

Thanks, love all the pics. Isn't William cute with the missing tooth. Wow no wonder Ella didn't want to take her bike back- that is one cool bike.

You're so funny.."va-klempted??" Love the tooth pillow you made him even if it is sad that he is growing up. Love the dress you made for yourself too! I love to see the things you and your mom make. Sewing for adults is soooo out of my comfort zone. Can't wait to see more information on it. It looks like a pattern that might work for me too.
