Lucy is clothed!

Everyone thinks my kids are nicely dressed.....
they're wrong.

They are usually sporting some old, usually tattered dress up dresses.... like this one that is one of Lucy's faves...

or half naked... which I'll spare you the photo (even though I have a thousand cute ones)

She dons my creations for the photo shoots and then comes in and immediately strips down. If we go somewhere, she (barely tolerating) gets dressed and goes to the store, then changes the minute we're in the door- usually losing some articles in the car ride home.

But.... this time- I hit the jackpot with Lucy.
She asked me for a princess kitty shirt. I delivered.
and..... shock...... she wore it all day and every day I put it on her.
It's truly amazing!

The outfit started when I was asked to test this adorable skirt pattern by Jessica at Happy Together.
It was knit, so before I even started, I was sold.

I bought the white knit with the circles of animal prints from Hobby Lobby first and then filled in the rest with stash fabrics.

I asked Lucy what kind of shirt she wanted to go with it and she swiftly answered "princes kitty"!

So I took one of the furry applique kitties from Designs by Juju and added this mini princess crown from Lynnie Pinnie.

Instant love for Lucy.
Look at this face.

She even likes the huge bow I made for her.

This is a ggdesigns princess felt stichie with Lynnie Pinnie's mini cat added.

And then.... if I thought she couldn't love it any more... I was wrong.
I purchased a bedazzler at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon and came home and bedazzled those babies.

Now, she wants everything be-dazzled.

I even did some of her panties.

YES. We love the be-dazzler.

I even thought of doing some more of her panties.... that is....

until I found her putting the dirty ones back in her dresser drawer.

"But I LOooooooove them and I want to wear them tomorrow!"
Yes. I washed them every night for three nights in a row.

It's time for more be-dazzled panties. For sure.

And some more of the A+ skirts... since she will actually stay dressed all day. And MAN! is it getting cold around here. My fingers actually feel like ice right now.
Time to snuggle some babies!

Cute as can be! I won't show the bedazzler to Shelby. I've already embroidered a purple "S" on 30 pr. of panties!

Oh, wanted to tell you my friend had the opposite problem with her son. She couldn't figure out why she was having to buy so many pairs of underwear for him until she found them in the trash one day. He knew that he had big boy undies and could potty in them but, she forgot to tell him that they weren't disposable like the Pull Ups.

HA! I LOVE this post. I have a 3 yr old daughter who would rather not wear clothes. So...guess I'll use my 40% JoAnn's coupon on a bedazzler!!! hahahaha...

Very creative way to keep her dressed.
