Who loves hedgehogs?

I don't know what it is with this fabric???
But I just HAD to have some.

I only bought a 1/2 of a yard and with no idea what I was going to do with it.
I really was thinking it would be a cute little pouch or small zipper bag.

But all of that changed when I found these awesome aqua shirts at Wal-Mart.

I just LOVE those shirts. It's so hard to find the kids sizes and they always run out so fast, too. But I was lucky enough to nab one of these for Lucy and Ella.

I've been a little obsessed with Dana's circle skirt tutorial.
It's just so easy and charming and fun to make, so I made this skirt with three circles of varying lengths, added some bias and some ruffles and a waistband... viola! Cute skirt. I love it.

It was originally supposed to be for Lucy, but I got it too big. Thank goodness I have two girls!

I don't know what it is about this color combination, but I just LOVE it. I've been dying to make something in these colors ever since I made the Spring Dress for Maddie. That color combination always makes me think of this blog, one of the first blogs I ever read and fell in love with.

The applique on the shirt is from Sewing with Sarah. I think it's cute... but I really wanted to use this one. I like it better, but ultimately I let Ella decide- she went for the eyelashes... I guess I can't blame her.

The bow was made by using these instructions and hot gluing that little covered button in the middle. I LOVE the bow!!!

The fabric for the leggings was from my first purchase at Chez Ami fabrics. I have been looking for (affordable) striped knits for ages. Every outfit looks cuter with striped leggings... don't you agree?

Anyways... the fabric is great and affordable and came packaged so pretty!

Here's what else I got from them.

Cute, huh?

Have you voted over at SYTYC yet?
Head over there and see if you can pick out my project this week.
I'm so glad I squeaked by with my edible ice cream bowls... I guess I should stick with sewing. ha!

ADORABLE! You never cease to amaze me.
OK, I had a hard time deciding which one was yours. There were two that looked so "you". Well, three but she mentioned she made it for her baby so that ruled you out. :) I hope I picked the right one!

SO cute! I am bookmarking that fabric site for later use. It looks like a great source for kids fabrics.

I think this is the cutest outfit I've seen in a long, long time. It's fascinating how something like a tee shirt could inspire such creativity. What a lucky little girl you have.

I don't think I have ever commented before, but I found your blog by googling "hooded towel tutorial". I made them for Christmas and they turned out great. You are so creative, I love seeing the things you make:)
