Ruffled baby bums = {love}

I made this little baby shower gift set for my sister in law a few weeks ago.

I love sewing for my family, because they know how I like to work.
She gave me a few simple ideas and color choices and then let me run with it.

I started with the onesie, using scraps from my niece Emma's bedroom set. I wish I had a picture of it to show you... it's so beautiful.

I used the Bloom Alpha from Planet Applique for the front and rolled hemmed strips of ruffles on the back.

Then I added one of these little fabric flowers for her hair with some more scraps.
I love these so much!

A sweet, girly outfit that went together fairly quick!

She also requested some baby toys.

It was pretty close to Easter when I made these, so I was really feeling the bunny and the chick.

I chose this big eared bunny softie from Sewing for Sarah

and this baby chick softie from ggdesigns.

My favorite thing about this day, though, was finding Ella listening to music and setting up the photo shoot all by herself.
How cute!

How precious! I, too, love the picture of your photo stylist. Tell her that she rocks at putting together your photo shoot!
