Matching doll dresses

Well. I broke down and bought myself a tiny notebook. I was just TOO good a deal to pass up, plus, it's such a relief to have a working computer!

I had over 1000 photos from this summer to download and
whoa... did that take forever! Now I'm in the process of cropping, photoshopping, watermarking and sorting them all...

but in the meantime, I thought I'd share these little doll dresses I made to match Ella's shirred maxi dress.

They were super, super easy to make.
I can do a tutorial if you guys want me to. Just let me know.

I started with Ariel's- Ella's most prized possession. She doesn't have any doll clothes and this one was so easy to alter, that it seemed like a good choice to start with.

now... if we could only do something about Ariel's hair. :/
That's another story. Ella has been carrying an Ariel doll since she was 18 months old, this is one is by far her favorite... we've glued the legs back on twice and replaced her... but it's still the favorite.

Talk about a girl who loves her doll....

Lucy is a little more fickle.
She will play with hers after she gets a new outfit, but after a few days, it's back in the doll bed, until the next time I make her something new.

Still, she had to have a new dress for her doll also, who isn't even loved enough to have a name.

Poor nameless baby....
on the bright side, she has much prettier hair. :)

Man....these girls are my sunshine.

I can't believe Ella is going to leave me and go to school.
sigh.....

These are so cute! I think we have the same, also nameless, doll. My DD does the same thing! My middle one is leaving me for school too and I am NOT happy about it! Trying to figure out a way to keep the 3-year-old small forever (maybe)!

Ella in school already! Time is going too fast! I'm sure some one on one time with Lucy will be great!
