I forgot to show you the first Sleeping Bunnies nightgown I made Lucy.
She got to be the cover model for Laura's pattern.
ha!~ She asked me if I minded... ha! minded? I love it.
My little baby is a model! :)
And what a lively, adorable model she is.
She picked the fabric herself from JoAnn's a few Dallas shopping sprees ago. It's a super soft knit jersey with little puppy dog princesses on it. Not anything that I thought she would choose, but she loves it and was so happy when I made this up for her.
Now, Lucy is a skinny-mini. This is not a true size to the pattern. I made her a 2 width with a 4 length.
I've had some questions about how I alter patterns to fit skinny kids and I'm going to do a tutorial on that really soon! {Lucy's excited about it, because I'm going to make her another nightgown!}
She hates to wear clothes, but this nighty is so soft and comfy, that she will actually leave it on all day.
Yeah... we wear pajamas all day around here.
I can't get over how much Lucy looks like me in this middle picture.

Anyways, after I made her the nightgown she loved so much, I decided to make her a matching doll nightgown. I told Laura that she could list it on her site if she wanted to, but great minds thought alike and she had drafted a doll pattern as well. You get her doll pattern free with the purchase of the Sleeping Bunnies pattern (which you should all buy. It's awesome!) but if you don't and you still want to make the doll pattern. I have written up the pdf for you! yea!
There's hardly a thing cuter than a little girl and her baby doll. This just melts my heart!
Want to make one? Get the PDF pattern instructions here:
and the PDF pattern here:
Please post pictures in the flickr group if you make one... or some! Enjoy!

Such a cutie!!! When you do the tutorial on altering patterns to fit your little Miss Skinny Minnie, let me know and I'll also post a link on my blog. That would be helpful for lots of people! I'm working right now on altering patterns to fit plus size little girls too.
I just love these pics of you and Lucy.
Thanks, Nicole, for an awesome pattern! This will be perfect for my niece to match her AG Doll bed linens I made. Thanks again!

Does the pattern need to be enlarged when printing? Printed as is, it would never fit an AG doll. Help!!
