New Baseball digs

So... William decided to play baseball this season.
His father's convinced that he loves it. Me, not so much, but I don't know if that's mother's intuition or just wishful thinking. I happen to be of the opinion that baseball is the WORLD'S WORST SPORT.
That's probably a terribly un-American thing to say, but I can't help it. I mean, 9 innings??? really? I think it's just awful.I'd take pretty much any sport over baseball, especially to watch on t.v, but I do like watching this little fellow.

A lot of women swoon over men's baseball uniforms... not me.
However, I swoon over this one and the little sweetie pie donning it.
Man. I love this kid. He is such a sweetheart.

He was so excited about his new uniform and bat and for all of us to come to his first game and cheer him on. He has his own cheering section. I'm one of those annoying, yelling, cheering, clapping parents.
What??? I was a cheerleader and I've taught the girls to do it, too.

So, I thought they'd need some new outfits to cheer on big brother! See how excited he is. :)

These were super easy to make. I made them both in one afternoon.
I used Carla C's raglan t-shirt pattern, but scooped the neckline and used binding instead of ribbing.

I used the 6X10 version of Designs by Juju's tiger face applique for Ella's adding the little bow on the side.
I also made her a matching bow with GGDesigns tiger felt stitchies. Soooooo cute!

I made Lucy's exactly the same, but used the 5X7 version of the tiger and put her bow on the other side.

Of course, she got a bow, too.

I've been thinking about making myself one, also... I don't know.... what do you guys think about a grown woman in an appliqued shirt???

William's personal cheerleaders.

So when you saying binding instead of ribbing, what's binding?

Make one for yourself!!! Of course you know I'll wear applique shirts. It's about time for me to bust out that question mark cupcake shirt again! ;)

Nicole, I never comment but I always read! I have to get better about that! I just have to say, your children get more and more beautiful (and handsome) with every year! They are so precious! :)
