Hand-me-down upcycles!

One of the great things about having a big family is passing down clothes.
We are fortunate enough to get all my nephews hand-me-downs for William. Ella and Lucy get to pass theirs down to the younger female cousins.

I just love seeing the girls clothes (especially things I've made) on my nieces!

In this case, we were handing down an old store bought leotard that had a screen print of Cinderella on it once upon a time. The screen print had vanished long ago because the girls wore it so much, so when I went to put it in the hand-me-down box, I thought it needed a little re-vamping!

I used Lynnie Pinnie's Cinderella cutie applique on the front to bring this old (very loved) leotard back to life for little Sophie.

My girls wore this little leotard so much and I wanted her to love it just the same... and besides the screen print missing, it was still in perfect condition. If you look really closely, you can see minute traces of the old screen print, but it's still SO cute. I just love Lyndsie's little cutie princess appliques.

Sophie does, too. She was quite pleased with her new (used) leotard!

Talk about a cutie princess!!! Isn't she adorable?!
