Snuggly Bunny costume

This is one of the cutest costumes I've ever made.
It's been on my 'want to make' list for a long time, so I was so thrilled to make it for my cousin's little girl Rowan. Isn't she just the most adorable little thing!!!?

I used Simplicity pattern 7313, which is out of print, but I had it in my stash from when William was a baby. I made him that cow costume.

I had plans to make Ella the bunny one, but never got it done.

I made Rowan's out of minky dot and baby pink satin. It's so snuggly and adorable... I wish these pictures did it justice.

I love the minor details on this pattern, like the little hand mitts

and sweet bunny booties.

I just used some craft felt with Heat and Bond lite for the pawprints.

Squeel!!! Aren't they adorable?

The hardest part was deciding what color and size to make the bow. I wanted it to be sweet, but not too big that she would be chewing or pulling at it.

I think it turned out so cute,
even though these pictures are atrocious.

Good thing my cousin's wife sent some adorable photos.

I just love this one of Rowan and her daddy (my cousin, Doug).

Precious, right?
