G.I.Joe Sleepover Pajamas

A couple months ago, I decided that I would have a sewing week for just for William!
Poor baby still loves mommy to sew for him and I just don't do it as much as I should.
And you know... he not only likes to be sewn for, but he really needs it. He's so slim, that nothing really fits him properly unless I make it.

My favorite thing I made during William's sewing week were these G.I.Joe pajamas.

I used the Oliver + s Sleepover Pajamas pattern for these pajamas. I had a New Look pattern like this when William was little and he LOVED the pajamas like that. I was so excited when I found another style like them.

I got this G.I.Joe flannel at our local Wal-Mart for a steal. They had it marked down to $2 a yard. Score! G.I.Joe's remind me of my little brother, so I bought extra just in case he ever has a little boy!

I love the details of this pattern with the contrast bands, cuffs, and waistband and the little pockets... perfect for holding a little ninja, G.I.Joe man, handkerchief, whatever... kids love pockets.

He loves these pajamas and with some adjustments, they fit him so perfectly. You have no idea how hard it was to keep him still for this photo shoot. He just wanted to do all his ninja moves. Of course, I had to get pictures of all his poses.... hahahaha

Isn't he adorable?
I should sew for him more.
