Have you guys heard about this?
I love designing and selling PDF patterns, but I also love to sew patterns from other designers.
I was SO excited to be paired with Gracious Threads!
I love to sew everyday clothes for my kiddos! That's what they like to wear to school and for hanging out on the weekends. Because I sew the majority (if not all) of their clothes, these are the kinds of patterns I tend to gravitate to.
I knew immediately that I wanted to sew up her Lazy Day Lounge Pants. My baby sister, Judy, was a tester for this pants pattern and made some for my nephew and I've been dying to make them ever since. Jessica was so sweet and let me choose a second pattern to pair with the pants. It was difficult to choose, but I finally went with the Petra Dress and Tee. The t-shirt is so adorably simple. I just love the understated puffed sleeve and neckline. It's the perfect silhouette for my little girl. Plus, I'm dying to make the dress, too! I already have some fabric picked out for Lucy.
I finally cut into my special Rainbow Brite knit fabric and we just love how this outfit turned out!
It's so soft and comfortable, but also stylish and young.
We made the pants out of some soft, red, Ponte fabric with the ribbing on the cuffs and waistband. These pants went together in a snap. Seriously, it took longer to tape the pattern together than to sew them. :) And Ella, absolutely, loves them!
Especially those big pockets (which we lined with the Rainbow Brite knit.)
If you don't have a go-to t-shirt or pants pattern in your collection, you will want these! These patterns are excellent! AND... Jessica is offering 15% off all patterns in her shop this week with code: SWAP15
Jessica, thank you so much for letting me sew up your patterns for the Designer Swap. I, absolutely, love them!
Huge give-a-way going on, too!
