Buckskin Princess for DOLLY

Remember when Ella represented Saint Kateri Tekakwitha for All Saint's day? Well... ever since then, she has been begging me for a matching outfit for Saige.

She was pretty excited when I delivered. :)

I really love how her little dolly outfit came together, so we decided to make a pattern for it. Once I started making them, I just could not quit.

Molly's outfit is made with some suede cloth in a grayish taupe color. I got the ribbons and trims from Hobby Lobby 50% off and the little beaded decoration on the front of her dress is from the clearance jewelry making section.

Ruthie's dress is made with some tan-ish suede cloth and I decorated it with some feathers and beads and ribbons from Hobby Lobby.

I got the idea for the beading from watching these Making Regalia videos. They're interesting to watch. I'd love to make the jingle dress in a dolly version.

It's sized for both 15 and 18 inch dolls and also includes the pattern for the little moccasin boots.

Ella really loves all her little Buckskin Princess Dolly dresses! If you make one, please send us a photo. We'd love to see it!

Just for fun...
I love these candid shots I took of Ella. Since she was a little girl, she would rub her dollies hair on her nose when she was tired. I guess she was a little tired for this photo shoot. :)

Look at all the wonderful photos we got from our testers! They really went above and beyond for the two rounds of testing. I'm so thrilled and grateful for their work.
