Swimsuits! Swimsuits! Swimsuits!

I 'think' I just made my last swimsuit of the season.

I used the Bow-a-licious Swimsuit pattern as the base and just sliced it to do the color blocking to make it look like Captain America. It's for my niece, Hailey, who is turning 9 next week.

I, actually, made all the nieces swimsuits in March, but Hailey has almost grown out of and worn out hers.

Kids grow so fast as this age!!!
The need new swimsuits each year and you just can't beat one that's made just for you.

I used the Bow-a-licious pattern for all of their suits (because I made so many and it's the quickest!)

Kentucky Basketball for Hailey, without the bow. :) The polka dot fabric is from The Fabric Fairy.

A daisy for my little Emma Daisy. The flower applique is from Lynnie Pinnie.

I put Emma's bow on the back! eeee.... I love that. Solid blue and yellow and white stripes and polka dots from The Fabric Fairy.

Whales for Miss Katelyn. (Lucy wanted them to match.) Whale fabric from Hancock Fabrics.

I love these bright prints from the Fabric Fairy for Alyssa's suit.

And a Paris themed suit for Sassy Sophie, also with the bow in the back.

Ella was VERY jealous of this one. :)

I also made this one for my niece, Lina, that I didn't get a chance to photograph. She loves purple and I have a hard time finding purple fabrics in my stash, but I did find this awesome fabric from the Fabric Fairy and I love how it turned out!

Of course, each girl needed a matching swimsuit for their baby doll. ;) I used the Bow-a-licious pattern for dolly for all of them.

I'm exhausted just looking at these photos. I made all those suits in less than a week.
It sure was fun, though.

They loved them, too.

Super fun! I'm a little sad that swimsuit season is over.
