Alyssa turns 2!

My little god daughter turned two last month and I got to be there for it and make her little birthday outfit!

I went with one of these skirts, which I always love made up.

They're so full and twirly and fun to look at.

I really love the sparkly tulle I used.

Can you see it?
For some reason, it's easier to see the sparkles in black and white.

See them now?
I love sparkles for little girls!

For the shirt, I used this applique from Digistiches.

Then we added some sparkly rhinestones with my be-dazzler.

I also made her this little bow, in case she didn't want to wear the birthday hat. (which I, sadly, did not take a good picture of)

But she LOVED her little birthday hat. She wore it the entire time and cried when it fell off.
I used this tutorial as inspiration for the hat. You'll want to browse this blog... it's so beautiful.

Isn't she the cutest!

I also made her this little matching bib, but forgot to take it to the party. :(

I looked and looked for a bib pattern like that online that closed on the side and couldn't find one, so I made my own pattern.
I really like it!
I wish I would have taken it to the party... ugh.

*All fabrics from Hobby Lobby.

The little girl and her outfit are just adorable! How do you stand being around so much cuteness every day?!
