Miss Muffet skirt and a Give-a-way!

Have you guys seen this pattern yet?

It's Boos on the front!
...squeal.... we're pretty excited.

I made this skirt a couple weeks ago as a tester for Jen of the Tie Dye Diva Patterns.

And can I just tell you how much I love it!!!!
I REALLY love it!
It goes together so quickly and it's so dang cute.

Did you see the little bloomers underneath?

It just made me think of Miss Muffet when Ella was modeling it... and Jen even used my suggestion for the name of the pattern! :) eeee

I love when I test patterns that I love.
I love passing on great pattern suggestions to you guys.
And I know you'll love this one.
It's great for beginners with clear, simple directions and also for seasoned seamstresses who want to make up something quick, adorable, and oh so easy.

I've already made two more of these, too, with a couple other fabric combinations set aside for more. That's how much I love them!

I'm usually not too worried about the modesty issue with my kids,
As seen here, or here, or here.... , but I just love that the skirt has these little bloomers built in. They're so sweet and girly and will be great when Ella is in school next year. The elastic casing is genius and so much cuter than plain shorts.

Although, I'll have to teach Boo not to lift up her skirt and show everyone the pretty satin 'poofies' as she calls them. ha.

We made a little shirt to match the skirt... Ella has been dying to use that fabric for years... by appliqueing a bit of the fabric into a double heart. I don't know why she always picks the blonds... it drives me kinda crazy.

Easy peasy!

And I was SO in her good books when she got this outfit.

Especially when she saw the hair bow!

My girls just LOVE the hair pretties from Pickle Pie Designs. Her little eyes were so sparkly and excited when she saw this.

Any time they get pretty- they reach for these hair pretties with dangling ribbons.
EVERY TIME.

I'm so happy with how this outfit came together. Ella is in desperate need of play clothes that are still pretty and girly- cause that's all she'll wear.

This is the perfect pattern for that.

I love it so much, I asked Jen if she would consider giving one away to one of my readers and she said YES!

Aren't you excited!!!
This is open to any of my followers. Just leave one comment on this post with your email address and I'll pick one winner on Monday.

If you've already purchased this pattern and you win, Jen will let you choose another pattern from her shop. They're all great!
I've made the ruffled diaper covers {a LOT}, the 3 peas in a pod, and the Sweet Summer dress. Love them all!

Isn't that great! No April Fool's Jokes here!
Go over and say hi to Jen on her facebook page, check out her patterns, and tell her I sent you!

That is just adorable! What a clever idea to include the bloomers! I always make my almost 5 year old wear shorts under her skirts/dresses because she isn't exactly "lady like"! lol! =)

Super cute!! And very similar to my Monkey Girl Bloomer Skirt pattern. Ahnalin wears bloomer skirts all the time because she is usually upside down. Heehee!!

Darling! My oldest has stopped wearing skirts because she can't play on the monkey bars! I may need to try this one :) mamalusco at ortelco dot net

I went to her page, liked it, and told her you sent me. She really has some super cute stuff. I'm definitely thinking my niece that likes to play too much to keep her skirt down is going to need one of these.

Love! Love! Love! I have an Ella that is going to start Kindergarten this coming year also, and I have been working my way through my fabric stash for cute school clothes for her. I figured that Target would be my one stop shop for shorts to go under the skirts I want to make, but this would be perfect. The bonus would be the extra money that I could spend at Target since I wouldn't be buying shorts. Lol. Love your blog. You are an inspiration to all of us stay-at-home-mom crafters.
